We were gone 11 days, and drove over 2400 miles. It was a great trip, and we highly recommend the Oregon Coast as a travel destination. We could have spent a lot longer there, in order to see everything. If you don't have at least a couple of weeks, I would recommend flying to Portland, and renting a car to drive to the coast.
