Heading North...

It was hard to leave the B&B this morning. We shared lots of stories and laughter with the other guests, as well as the B&B owners. We were definitely pampered there. We felt like we were leaving the warmth and hospitality of a friend’s home.

We drove North to Seaside today and enjoyed seeing all the unique little beach towns. Bob had been wanting to stop at a rustic little seafood market for clam chowder and crab for lunch, so he got his wish today. And we just had to try Tillamook ice cream, so we made sure to indulge in that today also.

We stopped at the Tillamook Cheese Factory, but because there’s no production on Sunday, there wasn’t much to see. We were glad we had been there about 20 years ago with our girls.

One town in particular that was especially pretty with large hanging flower baskets was called Nehalem Bay. Now that’s my kind of town!

Pretty hanging plants. Wish mine were that full and beautiful. Also enjoyed the pics of the B&B. It looks like a beautiful location for one. Love Joyce
