After our morning walk, we did some laundry and we were talking to a lady about how hot it is. She suggested a good way to escape the heat…go to the Oregon coast! So we headed towards Bandon, passing millions of trees and beautiful farmland. It took about 1½ hours to get there and it was a different world from where we are camping. It’s a cute little beach town and it was cold and breezy. We had lunch at a seafood restaurant overlooking the harbor. This unplanned outing turned out to be a very pleasant adventure!
