Yesterday we arrived in Montana. The drive was beautiful, with a rushing river alongside the highway and trees galore. Then we arrived in Missoula and had to go to Costco and Wal-Mart for a few things. The traffic was typical of So. Cal and the lines at the checkouts were extremely slow. I think people must come from very far to do their shopping and they must be stocking up for months.
It started raining as soon as we got to our campground, which is really pretty. Then the thunder and lightning started and it rained all night. After dinner there was a free concert. The man who wrote the Montana National Anthem sang and played his guitar. Then they served Huckleberry ice cream. It was really fun, and lots of nice people were there.
It’s very cool and wet today and many of us are doing laundry. We had to bring our computer to a central meeting room in order to get wireless internet (wifi). So that’s where we are now. Every day can’t be exciting!
