Mount Rainier

Today we took a trip to Mt. Rainier National Park, by the far the most beautiful national park we have ever seen. There are over 200 acres of dense forest, beautiful rock formations, rivers, 26 major glaciers, spectacular waterfalls, and many varieties of wildflowers. The mountain is an active volcano that will erupt sometime in the future (see photo.... dome is peaking through the clouds). A person could spend several days there and not experience all of the beauty.

Diane and Bob, I'm so glad you enjoyed one of my "Top 3" National Parks that Dennis, the girls, and I were able to experience during our family camping days. There's lots more to come!
