We're staying in Kelso, Washington. Bob has always been extremely interested in Mount St. Helens and was thrilled today to go there. We spent most of the day driving a beautiful route that took us to several visitor centers where we learned about the blast that occurred 26 years ago. It's amazing that the mountain is still so barren. Bob says we learned how destructive nature's furry can be.
