Canadian Rocky Mountains

Yesterday we drove to Banff National Park. It is one of several “interlocking” national parks here in Alberta. We have a view of spectacular mountain scenery all around us in our campground. We keep reading that there is wildlife to be found in all of the parks, such as cougars, bears, and elk. We see warning signs everywhere. We hope we see some! We drove around Banff, which has the feel of a mountain village and there are many resort hotels and Inns. We look forward to spending at least a few days in this campground since we can take day trips from here. We enjoyed exploring the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, which you can see from the photos is a spectacular resort.
