Manito Park

Japanese Garden

Today we went to a 93-acre park here in Spokane. It has the tallest trees, the greenest grass, the largest dahlias, the most fragrant roses, and the biggest area of walking paths of any park we’ve seen! We could smell the fragrant roses before we could even see the rose garden up ahead. There is a Japanese Garden designed primarily for tranquility and meditation. This is a "must-see" when visiting Spokane.

Look at the size of those dahlias!

This was just a small area of the large rose garden
