Moraine Lake

Today we got up early and drove to Moraine Lake. It was a crisp 45 degrees when we left at 9:00 a.m. What a beautiful drive! We passed Castle Mountain, which is the awesome rock formation seen in the photo. We also passed the beautiful streams that are fed by the glaciers. Then we arrived at Moraine Lake and the color of the lake was a beautiful turquoise! We were glad it warmed up to the high 70’s and we hiked a trail that followed the shoreline and it was so pretty. We also checked out Lake Louise, and decided we’ll take the motor home there Friday and stay in that campground for a couple of days.

Wow, that's awesome. It's wonderful that you are doing this while you are young enough to go hiking!

Love you both,
Bev :o)
