We covered a lot of miles yesterday and today, going south in British Columbia to hopefully warmer temperatures. When we woke up this morning, it was 31 degrees and we saw snow along the rode as we drove today. After looking at Weather.com yesterday, we’ve changed our travel plans a little in order to avoid freezing temperatures. We are now in a beautiful resort community that surrounds the Okanagan Lake, which is HUGE. It looks like there will be enough to do in the area that we could stay here for a few days in this pretty RV park. It’s somewhat difficult to be here today though, knowing that we are missing our friend Jeff’s funeral. That’s one of the hard things about travelling… not being able to be with friends and family.
